Our classy, hand turned, truly solid black walnut French pins will be a prized -and envied- possession among your baking arsenal. Professional bakers find the more open grain of walnut tends to hold more flour and means less sticking and stopping to re-apply. A one piece tapered pin gives the user control and sensitivity to the texture and thickness of the dough. They are a full 22” long and 1.75” in diameter and have an 8” flat center before the taper starts. The ends are softly rounded for comfort on your hands and feature an elegant abalone shell dot inlay on each end.
All kitchen tool surfaces are finished with a food-safe mineral oil and beeswax mixture. They can be easily maintained and will gain a sweet patina with use. To clean, wipe down with a cloth and warm water and dry the surface. Re-apply mineral oil as desired.
